Lost in time

So today was the last day of my christmas holidays and as you can see above I was overjoyed because it was actually sunny!  I decided to mark this rare and special occasion by popping on a sunhat and going  to the Geffrye Museum. I'd never been before but its brilliant! It begins in 1600 and it charts the changing of the living room in middle class households, right through to 1990. I fell in love with the Victorian rooms and there was an amazing conservatory with this really tacky (but amazing) mural and lots of potted plants. I definitely recommend it as a day out, I spent hours in there.

There was also a lovely little reading room with lots of amazing interiors books. I found a great one on Vivene Green and her dolls house collection. I'll definitely be going back for research this term.I took my diana with me, so pictures will follow when I eventually get the films developed. Overall major thumbs up.

Quizotic

On Tuesday the housemates and I decided on a little outing to a pub quiz. It was top notch, unfortunately we didn't win. We did pick up a prize for best name but I think only because they felt sorry for us. However Brad's friends won, their prize being £40 behind the bar so they bought us all a drink, aww. Here below is what I wore, I take quizzing very seriously and thought channeling a look of intelligence would help, clearly it didn't ..

2011 begins

New Year was exciting. We tottered along to see the fireworks.We got off at waterloo which was a big mistake, lots of fights and debauchery. I was a little bit terrified.

Christmas passed

These sum up my Christmas pretty well I think. It was good I ate a lot. Christmas telly highlight? definitely , The only way is Essexmas ! Genius. I hate these few days that live between Christmas and New Year, they are never any fun. For New Year I think we are going to go and watch the fireworks , you know the big ones you see on telly, exciting.

Stripes

In love with stripes and le French chic today. Sadly my outfit choice does not reflect this as the perfect skirt is in the wash.

uuuuuuurrrr so on Thursday I am going home to Cornwall, until Monday! Excitement. Hurray. I am excited not just to see zee fam but also because I can go to charity shops and bargain hunt which is something that doesn't happen in London , as it is devoid of anything cheap (i.e under 5quid) . durr durrr durrr. Yeh. Today so far has been a complete waste of time, I have pretended to do lots of useful things. Now I should probably go actually do some useful things, thosse socks aren't going to wash themselves!

p.s I haven't gone insane, its all this free time, I don't know what to do with myself !
